There are excellent sensory displays at the museum including scented and tactile displays as well as a garden area. There are ear defenders available on the desk and also a sensory map is available from the main reception and on the website. There are warnings of the loud sirens that can be heard when you enter the Escape tunnel area.

Staff have autism awareness training and there are also social stories available on the website and at reception.
