Mobility / Wheelchair Support

The woodland does not have any staff, but the bottom two paths are wide and easily wheelchair accessible. The third path may be a challenge for someone who has an off-road wheelchair and would like to explore how far they can go before having to turn back.

The two surfaced paths in the wood are linked into a woodland path network. Other, more challenging, steeper and naturally-surfaced tracks lead to panoramic views. There are seats along these higher tracks.

Be aware that the paths that run through the lower sections of the woodland tend to be wetter and can become quite muddy in wet weather.

Vision Impairment Support

The paths are wide and fairly even, although compacted rubble, so one does have to watch out for the occasional loose stone. There are plenty of contrasting colours to help guide you.
