The site is wheelchair and disabled friendly and provide reserved disabled parking near the entrance, and have a wheelchair on site which can be pre-booked. The site is mostly on a flat level with hard surfaces for wheelchair users, and has double door access into all of the building, with seats and benches all around the site for persons with walking difficulties.
Fully trained special assistance dogs are welcome around the site wearing their identifying jackets, but must not be in the flying area during the displays.

Staff have training and the sanctuary take pride in working with people with all special needs including those with visual and sensory impairment. Many individuals and groups are given a unique experience and the opportunity to use tactile sensory stimulation by touching and feeling the owls.
