    Hotel with over thirty rooms and nine studio apartments, Mannings Hotel is in central Truro. Said to be a destination for a cosmopolitan experience in the capital. There is also a Bar and Restaurant to cater for a relaxing drink or bite to eat your all of your needs will be met.

    Detailed description

    Mannings is a Grade II listed building and does not have a lift, and are happy to carry your luggage to and from your room but this, understandably may make access difficult for people with limited mobility. HOWEVER... there is 1 ground floor apartment available which is wheelchair adapted along with a walk in shower room which has been fitted with a disability bathroom. This apartment has a double bed along with a fitted wheelchair adapted kitchen. The other ground floor apartment would be ideal for someone with limited mobility and can be used as a double or a twin bedded apartment.

    The car park is to the left of the main hotel entrance and is also located just to the left of 4 red telephone boxes. The gates to the car park are visible from Lemon Street but are slightly set back from the main street itself. The car park is well lit and monitored with CCTV.

    Staff are always on hand to help with luggage, anything you need or to answer your queries and questions.

    Parking

    The main hotel entrance is located at the front of the building at the bottom of Lemon Street and to the right of Mannings Bar & Restaurant. Vehicles can stop here to drop off and pick up passengers with baggage but, will need to go around the one way system again in order to use the car park located just to the left of the hotel. There are 2 steps up into the main entrance of the hotel and the lobby area. For guests in wheelchairs the hotel can provide a mobile roll out disability ramp which can be placed at the main hotel entrance. The staff are able to help with this and on the right hand side wall of the main entrance to the hotel there is a “call button”  to use if you need assistance. If you need assistance with luggage or help with checking into the hotel please call us ahead on 01872 270345 and they will be waiting for your arrival.

    Toilet facilities

    Mannings Hotel & Apartment: There is 1 ground floor apartment available which is wheelchair adapted along with a walk in shower room which has been fitted with a disability bathroom. All other hotel rooms are up a flight of stairs. Due to being Grade 2 listed, some changes cannot be made to the building.

    Mannings Bar & Restaurant: There are toilet facilities on the ground floor in our restaurant and 1 of them has been fully adapted for wheelchair users. It has an emergency cord to summon emergency assistance if required.

    Mobility / Wheelchair Support

    For guests in wheelchairs the Hotel can provide a mobile roll out disability ramp which can be placed at the main hotel entrance. Staff are on hand to help with. On the right hand side wall of the main entrance there is a “call button” for you to use if you need assistance.

    Mannings Bar & Restaurant: The restaurant is situated on the ground level of the hotel and can be accessed from inside the hotel lobby. There are 3 stairs leading down from the main restaurant into the bar area. Menus are available to see online.

    Hearing Impairment Support

    The Hotel, Apartments, Bar and Restaurant is on a busy street so there maybe some background noise from outside. Being a Bar and Restaurant, there will be background noise from people eating and general chatter. There maybe background music too.

    Autism support
