    Set in a tranquil rural location yet within easy reach of the most beautiful parts of Cornwall, Bocaddon Farm provides two modern holiday cottages converted from old stone farm buildings and traditional B&B in a working farmhouse. They are 4 star awarded, and M3 wheelchair accessible.

    When choosing a place to stay for a holiday location is everything and Bocaddon Farm is ideally situated to explore Cornwall, and only a short drive from Looe & Polperro and some of the most beautiful beaches on the South Cornish Coast. Travel a  little further and you can visit the historic town of Fowey or the famous harbour of Charlestown which is one of the many location the popular series of Poldark is filmed.

    Detailed description

    Bocaddon Holiday Cottages are particularly suited to less able-bodied visitors, 75% of bookings come from families or groups where one or more member has a disability. Both cottages are 4*, and awarded M3 by Visit England, meaning suitable for a full-time wheelchair user with a carer.

    Dairy Dell and Bramble Byre are both specially adapted to cater for those with physical disabilities. They both sleep 4, with Dairy Dell able to accommodate an additional child. Both are on a single floor, and have access to a private garden behind. Both have an ensuite wetroom bathroom off the master bedroom, and an additional twin room, with a wide open-plan kitchen/living/dining room.

    Both properties have access to the indoor heated swimming pool, which is max 1.2m deep, with a toddler pool and jaccuzi. There are various play areas for children around the farm, and plentiful wildlife. The farm itself is mostly arable, but there are plentiful free-range chickens, which guests are invited to feed - and collect their eggs.

    No pets are allowed on the farm - there is nothing said on the website about assistance dogs.

    Parking is available close to the cottages.

    Toilet facilities

    Both cottages have ensuite wetroom bathrooms off the master bedrooms, and shower rooms from the twin bedrooms. Bramble Byre and Dairy Dell are graded M3 – suitable for wheelchair users accompanied by a carer. Ceiling tracked hoist is available for use over the bath and shower.

    Both cottages have been designed for wheelchair users and those with mobility difficulties. They have wide doorways with no sill, plenty of space inside, and wetroom bathrooms.

    Vision Impairment Support

    Assistance dogs are welcomed. Accessible cottages have spacious open plan lounges and all-level flooring.
