    Description

    Trevaskis Farm, Shop and Restaurant, home to Pick-your-own strawberries and other fruit and veg in season, as well as pigs, sheep and other livestock, and a famous restaurant and farm shop.

    The Farm Shop prides itself on 'food yards' rather than 'food miles' stocking fruit, veg and meat from the farm, as well as other local and artisan producers.

    The restaurant is famous for generous portions, particularly its dessert selection, and also showcasing locally produced ingredients.

    Detailed description

    Pick your own, and visiting the farm's animals

    Set amidst 28 acres of beautiful countryside, Pick Your Own is a wonderful family day out. Choose from an abundance of fruit and vegetables to pick, and with information signs dotted around the farm park, you can learn while you wander. Best of all, farm entrance is free and you only pay for what you pick!

    The Pick Your Own strawberries are on trestles off the ground, so will be accessible for wheelchair users, or those who would struggle to reach them at ground level.

    The Farm park is sometimes, though not reliably, accessible for wheelchairs, as pathways are mud or gravel and can become uneven particularly in wet weather. They are frequently levelled out in dry weather, however we recommend phoning in advance for advice before travelling to the farm if using a wheelchair as farm accessibility is weather dependent.

     

    Shop and Restaurant

    The restaurant and shop are level access, and have enough space to navigate safely between furniture and displays. There is a vast range of produce on offer, of the highest quality, and including items for gluten free and vegan diets, amongst others.

    The staff are always very happy to help and are very friendly, and knowledgeable about the produce in the shop or restaurant.

    Parking

    The car park provides four priority disabled parking spaces and wheelchair access to the restaurant and farm market. Cars can be easily pulled up to the ramp outside the restaurant for easier access. The car park surface itself is tarmac/paved; the restaurant entrance is a stone-slabbed ramp.

    Car parking is free to all.

    Toilet facilities

    There is a well-equipped wheelchair accessible toilet in the Restaurant, and other public toilets in the entrance to the restaurant.
