    Todsworthy Farm is a mixed enterprise of 70 acres. A family farm, where you will find cows with their calves, sheep, chickens and even a few pigs.
    The owners provide two superb 18th century self catering holiday cottages ideally situated as part of a traditional family farm, but in a location where you enjoy unrivalled comfort and tranquillity.

    Each cottage is disabled friendly providing M3 Mobility Access where needed. Both are specifically designed for disabled visitors with ground floor bedrooms, wet-rooms, wide doors, no steps and low kitchen worktops.
    The farm environs are also set-up to be disabled friendly, providing full access to all key areas.

    Todsworthy Farm is a mixed enterprise of 70 acres. A family farm, where you will find cows with their calves, sheep, chickens and even a few pigs.
    The owners provide two superb 18th century self catering holiday cottages ideally situated as part of a traditional family farm, but in a location where you enjoy unrivalled comfort and tranquillity.

    Cider Press cottage - sleeps up to 6
    Luxurious, four-star, converted cider production holiday cottage. Three double bedrooms, two large bathrooms, two reception rooms, including a sun lounge, spacious open, and fully equipped kitchen. Wifi, TV, DVD player and Hifi installed, making Cider Press a home from home.

    Hayloft cottage - sleeps up to 8
    Sumptuous, four-star holiday cottage, converted barn for housing and milking cattle. Three double bedrooms, three bathrooms, open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, spacious courtyard with barbecue and extensive seating area. Speedy wifi, TV, DVD player and Hifi installed. Hayloft is a quiet and relaxing retreat.

    Each cottage is disabled friendly providing M3 Mobility Access where needed. The cottages are specifically designed for disabled visitors with ground floor bedrooms, wet-rooms, wide doors, no steps and low kitchen worktops.
    The farm environs are also set-up to be disabled friendly, providing full access to all key areas. The 70-acres are increasingly being revised to allow complete access.

     

    Todsworthy Farm won Silver in the Cornwall Tourism Awards 2018/19 in the Access and Inclusivity category.

    Parking

    There is level parking right outside the front door of the cottages with room for up to four cars. More parking spaces are available around the back of the cottages if needed.

    Three spaces are available for each cottage.

    Toilet facilities

    Both holiday cottages have a wetroom bathroom, and an additional bathroom.

    There is a mobile hoist, shower chair, bed wedges (a safe form of cot sides) and large foam back supports all available for hire.

    All wet rooms are en-suite and have grab rails surrounding the toilet. There are two different height raised toilet seats available. There is a fold down seat in the shower. The transfer space to the toilet is limited to 78cm in the Hayloft because of the fold down shower seat. Vanity basins have spaces under them for wheelchairs with a shelf area.

    Mobility / Wheelchair Support

    Both cottages:

    Level access is provided throughout the ground floor to living areas, shower areas and bedrooms with wide doors facilitating the option of wheelchair use when required. New profiling beds that can be made up as twins or a double are standard in Hayloft. The shower areas have grab rails and a fold down seat. There are grab rails strategically positioned about the toilet area. All the ground floor rooms are spacious and easy to move around.

    There is an extensive range of mobility equipment that is available for hire, including wheelchairs, zimmer frames, mobile hoist, shower chair, bed wedges, foam back supports, etc.

    Both Cider Press & Hayloft are graded at M3. This is officially described as follows:
    ‘Mobility Level 3 Assisted: Typically suitable for a person who depends on the use of a wheelchair in a seated position. This person also requires personal or mechanical assistance (e.g. carer, hoist).’

    Vision Impairment Support

    Pets are welcomed, and incur a small surcharge of £15 per stay. Please notify on booking. Assistance dogs do not incur the charge.

    Large print information is available on request, and the cottage is decorated to be friendly to people with a sight impairment.
