    Accessibility

    St Moritz has 2 fully-accessible rooms, lift access to the main restaurant and an indoor pool with disabled changing and a hoist system for pool access.

    Restaurant

    The Shorecrest Restaurant and Bar is open all year round for breakfast, lunch and dinner offering fresh Cornish seafood, hearty lunches and healthy salads. The Seaside cafe nestled beside the outdoor pool provides drinks and snacks during the school holidays. Residents and non guests are invited to enjoy fresh, local and seasonal Cornish produce cooked to perfection alongside cocktails, coffees, cake and cream teas.

    The Shorecrest Restaurant and Bar areas are accessible through the reception building which has no-step and automatic door access and a lift up to the first floor. There is a disabled toilet on the first floor of the reception building.

     

    Spa

    The St Moritz is home to the only Cowshed Spa outside of Soho House properties. A rustic-luxe mood-enhancing space for hiding away from it all or enjoying a glass of sparkles with friends. With six stylish treatment rooms, you can opt for anything from a full scale, all-inclusive indulgence package to a quick-fix beauty treatment. Plus, you can purchase a sensual souvenir from our Cowshed retail space to take home and use as part of your very own self-care ritual.

    If you wish to have treatments in the Cowshed Spa, they are accessible to the disabled user, however please contact the Cowshed on 01208 869800 for further information and to check the best and most suitable treatments available.

     

    Pool

    The hotel has a 12m indoor pool for guests, with a jaccuzi, steam room and sauna, and a separate toddler pool. There is a 16m outdoor pool which is open for residents in spring and summer, when the weather allows.

    In the indoor swimming pool area there is a disabled changing room with a shower and toilet. The indoor pool also has a wet wheelchair and hoist to pool access.

    There is a well-equipped gym, with fitness instructors, tennis courts and table tennis tables,

    Parking

    There is a regular car park around the reception building, and then 2 x overflow car parks. The Fully Accessible Suite has a designated space, and there is also one other disabled space.

    Toilet facilities

    The two accessible rooms have their own wetrooms.

    There is a disabled toilet on the first floor of the reception building, and a lift up to the first floor.

    Rooms

    The Fully Accessible Suite is a well appointed ground floor room and equipped to cater to those with mobility issues. The suite includes a fully-fitted kitchen with lowered worktops and an open plan-dining and living room which leads into a private sunroom. A separate en-suite bedroom includes a king size bed with hoist and rail and a host of other solutions to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

    The Accessible Twin Room consists of twin beds one of which is a Theraposture 3ft bed, an en-suite shower with a wet room and full body drier.

    Both rooms have no internal doorsills, accessible toilets, emergency cords and more.

    Alongside the Suite and Twin Room there is a Cosy Room which is perfect for family, friends or a carer.

    Vision Impairment Support

    The Fully accessible suite has a talking microwave, among many other accessibility features.

    The menu for the restaurant is available online as a PDF, and other site information is also available in PDF form.

    The hotel is ceasing to be a 'dog friendly hotel', but Assistance dogs are permitted. Please mention on booking. The Fully Accessible Suite has garden access.

    Hearing Impairment Support

    The Fully Accessible suite has a fire alarm vibrating pillow pad and strobe, an alerting doorbell, and an induction loop.

    It is possible to book entirely online.

    There is a hearing induction loop in Reception.

    Autism support

    The restaurant is table service, although the cafe is not. However, the cafe should be able to serve at a table if necessary. Please ask.
