    2012
    Finally, a Cornish hotel group purchased The Alverton Manor and renamed it ‘The Alverton’, with plans to lovingly restore it to its former glory as the best, luxury hotel in Truro. We have a rich history spanning across the centuries. Above all, we are dedicated to paying homage to our story. Consequently, various artefacts, old photographs and curious features are peppered around every corner of The Alverton Hotel Truro.

    We are now a proud four silver star hotel. Visit our two AA-rosette award-winning restaurant, gorgeous private gardens, relaxing bar and terrace and 53 individual and fully equipped bedrooms. Original features meet modern furnishings to create a unique hotel on the outskirts of the Cornish capital. Most importantly, we continue to build and expand on the foundations laid down by our predecessors.

    Our restaurant and bar are situated on the ground floor. There is also a wheelchair ramp which gives access to our outside terrace area.
    We have four events rooms at The Alverton which are accessible for disabled guests, all are situated on the ground floor.
    The hotel has a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
    We have disabled parking situated at the front of the hotel, our main car park is slightly sloped.
